Alexandra-Emily Kokova
Fractional CMO & Revenue Operations Leader | Marketing + Sales Ops + HubSpot Architecture, owned end to end | Founder, RevOpsXL
About
Marketing owns campaigns, sales owns pipeline, ops owns the tools, and the revenue leaks between them. I own all three.
Marketing owns the campaigns. Sales owns the pipeline. Someone in ops owns the tools. The revenue leaks in the handoffs between them, and no one is accountable for a handoff.
I take all three.
Most companies solve this by hiring three specialists. A CMO who arrives with a plan and finds the CRM cannot tell them which half of it worked. A sales ops manager who fixes the pipeline without touching what feeds it. An admin who owns the stack but not the number it reports. Each one is competent inside their own remit, and the seams between them are exactly where the forecast stops being true.
I came up through revenue operations and into marketing leadership, which means I can hold the strategy, the pipeline mechanics and the system underneath at the same time. In practice that looks like sitting in the sales standup and the marketing review in the same week, and building the reporting both of them argue from.
Most recently I built the revenue and marketing function for a regulated financial group operating across eleven jurisdictions, working daily with the founder and every country CEO. Before that, global marketing at a thousand-person consulting firm, in the room with the VP of Marketing, the CMO, the board, the CISO, the Head of Sales and the EMEA practice heads. The job was never one function. It was making the functions agree on what was true.
How I work
Fractional leadership. Embedded in the leadership team, owning the number across marketing and sales operations, and the roadmap for the systems both depend on.
Revenue System Audit. A written diagnosis of where your revenue actually leaks, and what to fix first.
Build and fix. HubSpot architecture, CRM migrations, attribution that survives a CFO's questions, lead handoff that holds, data governance.
Sectors: regulated financial services, fintech, B2B SaaS, enterprise consulting, growth-stage technology. Markets: Nordic, EU, North America.
If your marketing, sales and systems each report something different, write to me and tell me what you are seeing.
