About

I work with early-stage and growth companies that need a hands-on marketing leader without the full-time cost. Whether you're hiring your first marketer, overhauling your stack, or entering new markets, I'll build the team and systems to drive predictable pipeline.

I have 25 years of experience in B2B. I build marketing from the ground up at technology companies, and I've done this at multiple companies, in cybersecurity, AI and computer vision, developer tools, and enterprise software. I have run my own consulting practice since 2020.

Recent relevant roles: Head of Marketing, Visual Layer — computer vision platform, acquired by Camtek (Nasdaq: CAMT) Director, Marketing & GTM, Coro Cybersecurity Head of Product Marketing, Lytx / Surfsight Product marketing and technical writing roles at Snyk, Cisco, Netformx, Synerion, Amdocs I work best with seed through Series C companies building deep tech or complex B2B products — cybersecurity, AI, developer tools, and regulated software. I also work with consumer and B2C products.

Approach I own both the brand story and the technical truth behind it, in one person. That means every claim I make to the market can be proven.

I can work in five steps - though I match those steps based on your needs and business requirements: 1. Discover. We meet. You tell me what you need. We agree the scope before any work starts. 2. Learn and analyze. I use the product myself, talk to the engineers who built it, read what exists inside and outside the company, and listen to real buyer calls. 3. Strategize. We define product-market fit, positioning, ideal customer profile, and personas. We build one messaging framework so the story stays consistent everywhere. 4. Write, build, collaborate. I draft the work with the right stakeholders, build the internal documentation and style guides, and build automations for marketing and content work. 5. Teach and distribute. I train your team — sales, docs, and everyone else — until they all tell the same story. I move fast and I check every detail. I use AI throughout my own work, and I edit out anything that sounds like AI wrote it. A human always makes the final call.

I take on work for a project, a quarter, or the long haul — hands-on, strategic, or both, on your stack and your cadence.

Notable results - Took a company from zero to acquisition in one year. Joined Visual Layer as the founding marketer, built the entire marketing function on a budget under $1,000, grew revenue to $3M, and the company was acquired by Camtek (Nasdaq: CAMT). - Grew a marketing team from zero to 13 people at Coro Cybersecurity in 18 months, during a year the company grew revenue 300% and reached $1M+ in quarterly sales per customer. - Helped grow market share by 65% at Lytx/Surfsight, an AI-powered video product for vehicle fleets. Built a 300-page developer portal that cut partner onboarding time by 35%. - Built a compliance resource center covering 20+ regulatory frameworks at Coro, used by the sales team to close deals in regulated industries. - Wrote the first product documentation for two companies (Coro and Visual Layer) from nothing.
